One of the only redeeming features of this store is that it has self-checkout lanes. Beyond that...read on. If you come here to buy groceries, there are a few things you should know. First, they move things around constantly. Looking for coffee? Don't plan on finding it in the aisle marked "coffee." Juice? Sometimes it's in an aisle and other times it's along the wall. There never seems to be any consistency or planning involved. Shopping is always a scavenger hunt. Also, if you come in with a grocery list, guaranteed they will be out of at least one or two of the most important items on it, necessitating a trip to another store to get it. Planning on milk, bread, eggs, and cereal for breakfast? Hah! Better plan on eating that cereal dry...if they have the particular cereal you wanted, that is. Next, there's the checkout lines. My question is this: Why have so many lanes in the first place if you're only going to have a few of them manned at any given time? Do yourself a favor: Look at the lines as you enter the store BEFORE you start shopping. See how long they are and DOUBLE it. Guaranteed they'll be that long (or longer) when you're ready to check out. Finally, there's the situation with the parking lot and surrounding streets. I remember back before they built and opened this location. They met with representatives from the neighborhood who expressed concern about additional traffic, trash, and cart management. At that time, Target assured that there wouldn't be any problems. Well, surprise, there ARE problems. Carts are usually all over the place and can be found on the side streets blocks from the lot. Trucks park on the side streets overnight, ignoring the signs prohibiting them from doing so. Trash? All over the place. The outside trash cans are often filled to capacity/overflowing. The smell as you pass them when entering/leaving the store on a hot day isn't pleasant. Worse, with a good breeze, it all goes flying throughout the lot and the surrounding neighborhoods.
