  Th owner took my elderly immigrant mother in law for $130, plain and simple. Quoted her $50 to clean earrings and create missing back. She said it didn’t need to be gold like the other one. He didn’t write down because he “doesn’t write things down”. Called (weeks after he said they’d be done) and quoted her $180, then later called back and threatened to “donate” them. These earrings were family heirlooms from India, and I was there when they had this conversation. He couldn’t have been ruder or more unprofessional.
