Reviews about Fine Wine and Good Spirits
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆August 28, 2019, by KirkerBezerker !Makes me wish so badly that PA didn't have these ridiculous liquor laws. If I could go to a competitor of this store I would be willing to drive 100 miles to do so. My wife and I enjoy a bottle of wine between us 3-4 times a week so I frequent this store as many times each week. No matter how friendly I am to every employee there I am always met with rude, condescending, and borderline hateful attitudes. You would think that everyone who works here is being held against their will and forced to work as slaves because they're all completely miserable and make sure to let each customer know it. You have a question about where a product is located? "I don't know. It changes often, look over there somewhere." You ask for a price on something that wasn't properly labeled/ confusing? You will hear the loudest most annoyed sigh of your life as they snatch the bottle away from you. God forbid they grab the wrong product from behind the counter and you have to nicely ask them to get a different one because their eyes will tell you to go to hell and die for the inexcusable inconvenience you have thrust upon their life. You can't help but be in a terrible mood after leaving this store, just like you can't help but feel bad after watching a documentary about child slavery or war crimes against civilians. I honestly worry about my own mental health now that I think about it. I'm poisoned by these employees toxic attitudes and I then try to wash away that horrible experience with a couple glasses of wine. The customer service at this store is so bad that it has literally forced me to abuse alcohol. And since PA has made itself the only dealer, I'm forced to go to this dealer no matter how bad they treat me like some sad junkie with a fresh black eye telling myself I'm the one to blame for making my pusher angry while roaming the train tracks of Kensington. I'm obviously kidding (as far as you need to know) but seriously this place sucks. Don't go here unless you have no other choice. And by "no other choice" I don't mean "but the next closest store is 15 mins away, though!", I mean no other choice like you can't bootleg your own moonshine at home, or you're out of mouth wash and rubbing alcohol to mix up for a buzz. This place should be considered an absolute last resort, because no matter how much booze you buy here it's going to take all of that plus another couple "handles" to wash away the memory of being treated so poorly by someone so miserable that they inevitably drag you down to their subterranean level of pent up rage and misery.
