Reviews about Bario Neal Jewelry

  • October 13, 2019, by Russell Barron
I purchased an engagement ring and two wedding bands through Bario Neal, and my fiancée and I could not be happier with the results. We are not local at all, so while we were driving up to Philly for a weekend trip a few months ago, we stopped by their storefront to start the process. We found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful with just about every question we had. I had concerns about working with a jeweler so far from home and with whom I had no experience or familiarity with, but I'm glad I took the plunge. I had an old and fairly large heirloom ring that I wanted to recycle into the new rings, and this was largely not a problem. They do have a policy that recycled metal cannot be used for jewelry with fittings, which was a bit of a bummer but I understand. They were still able to use the heirloom ring for the metal in the two wedding bands, and there was enough left over that they gave me back the stones and a large metal button. I saved myself the metal costs on two of the three rings, and I found their labor charges to be fair and reasonable. The engagement ring was their linear diamond style, which my fiancée loves for its asymmetry. We request the diamonds in a champagne color, and while we were informed that this would add some extra time for sourcing the diamonds, it was also not a problem. The staff was extremely helpful in communicating through email, an sending pictures of candidate diamonds before they were purchased. We went through a few sets before we found a color that we were happy with, but the whole purchasing process took maybe 3 weeks. From there, it took another 6-7 weeks to make the rings, which was not an issue. The rings were FedEx'ed with 2-day shipping, and required signature. FedEx's shipping policies were the only frustrating part of the whole exchange, but that's not something that can be pinned on Bario Neal. Overall, I am extremely happy with their service and the final products that I received. I will definitely be giving them a look for any future jewelry work.
